Thanks so much for the cooperation during a crazy, rainy week! We've had to make some changes. Let's stay flexible!
Monday: Peak - Varsity Only
Tuesday: Practice in Cafeteria with JV - Homecoming halftime performance
Wednesday: Peak - all teams
Thursday: Varsity Choreography in Cafeteria. Practice will run LATE this day (plan 3 - 7 pm)
Friday: Practice with JV/Varsity POM and Cheer - 2:30-5pm. Yes, you have the day off school. Practice is still scheduled. We will combine all teams at this time and run through our halftime performance for the homecoming game.
Saturday: Home game vs. Regis: Arrival Time TBD.
Next week: HOMECOMING!!!! Plan on a very busy week!
Upcoming competition season: Please refer to your cheer handbook regarding absences/eligibility leading up to competition. If you miss a practice (for any reason) 2 weeks prior to a competition, you will not be eligible to compete in the following competition. If your reason is excused, you will still remain a member in good standing. This is non-negotiable for safety reasons.
Please look over the calendar for October AND November. We've made a few changes that you should be aware of. Please also note that our competition on November 2nd is in Pueblo. That's a long drive. It is a first opportunity to earn a Nationals Bid. We will practice in the morning on November 1st. Our second (and last chance) for a Nationals Bid is November 16th.
Please make sure you are arranging your carpools more than 24 hours in advance. It can get very stressful on the people we love and who are here to support us if you are trying to find a last minute ride. The calendar is here for a reason! Plan well in advance!
Take care of yourselves over the next two weeks - stay healthy, and stay hydrated! It's about to get crazy and we need everyone healthy!
